Does anyone have a B7 with steering wheel on right side?
If so pics?
I just think that having the steering wheel on right side in the U.S. is pretty cool.

go in reverse.[:D]
but honestly that would be pretty bad ass tho... your the only one or one of the very few who would have steering on the right side.
obviously at 1st it would seem dangerous but everything new like that would take time to get used too.

when the car is on fire you can tuck and roll out of it into the grass instead of oncomming traffic

I think it would be weird to shift with my left hand. I think the gas/brake/clutch are in the same order though. Imagine how f-ed up it would be if there were reversed too!!
The right side drive makes me think of that scene from Caddyshack with Chevy Chase and Rodney Dangerfield and Judge Smails when they're about to tee off for the big match towards the end of the movie.

yeah they are in the same order and it is difficult to adapt to the shifting, the gears run from right(1) to left (R)

I think you should do a rebuild and post it here! Ok!? [wrench]

So a manual gear box is reversed in right side drive cars? From right to left... instead of left to right? My friend and I were talking about that last night and we couldn't figure it out... I think that would take me a while to get used to shifting with my left hand in reverse. Also, wouldn't you think that would be a bad move for auto makers to have to pay/incure manufacturing costs to build two different transmissions? But I guess they are already paying extra to put the drivers seat on the right anyways...

Yeah, I've seen right hand drive Subarus and Jeeps that "rural" mailmen use. Rural mailcarriers have to provide their own vehicles and do not get the usual USPS trucks.

The Gate in a RHD car's transmission is the same as a LHD car. First would still be left and up.

You know, I came from a Prelude, and everyone there used to pop a boner over a right hand drive car...what the hell is the big deal? It's made to be driven in countries where they drive on the other side of the road. ZOMG the wheel is on the other side! So what, it does absolutely nothing, it's not even like a mod, it just makes driving unsafe. Do you think people in Japan get all excited and wish they had a left hand drive car? I don't know, I'm sorry but I just completely fail to see any point in it.

It's the UK and Japan - I think we're the only 2 countries who drive on the left.
The rest of Europe drives on the right. My friend from the Czech Republic was saying how the residual value of second hand cars differs as the cars can be sold in a much wider cross-border area.
You could just attach a big mirror to your car...?! [;)]

Most Commonwealth countries (as in former British colonies) follow the UK configuration, most obvious exception being Canada.
