Hello,

I hope someone can help me with some suggestions on how to get rid of heavy mud splash stains on my brand new 08' Ibis White. Took delivery on a really nasty rainy and muddy day and the bottom of my fenders leading back to my door blades are stained with disgusting blotchs of brown spots!!! I was not able to clean them right after the splashing occurred because it rained for a couple of days and i figured it would wash off the residue...

I have no background in really cleaning cars or waxing them formally. I usually just take it to my local hand car wash and let them do the work and I would throw on a thin coat of wax myself once i got home.

I have tried to buff it out by hand and it still wont come out. The car is literally 6 days old and its killing me to see it like this. Pictures are below for reference.

Please let me know in detail what I need to purchase and what i need to do.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Pick up a clay bar kit at Autozone and it will take care of it right away!

Any recomendations on brands to purchase or are they all pretty much the same thing?

Thanks for the quick response awahl63!

If you go to a local shop like Autozone or Pep Boys your selection is somewhat limited but they do have some decent brands still available. They are all pretty much the same but I like Clay Magic (blue bar) probably the best. It's really all personal preference.

Just make sure you hand clean/bucket wash the car first before claying it and then wash it after you're done and then apply a good coat of wax.

Should be an easy fix.

Just went to autozone to pick up a meguiars clay bar kit and used it according to the directions. No luck didnt even lighten the mud stains...
I feel like its almost embedded into the clearcoat of the paint. Possibly came like this from factory??
Any other solutions?

Thanks in advance...
