I have searched and concluded nothing, what kind of gear oil does audi recommend for a rear diff? Is it 75w90 full syn?

GL5 rated 75/90 or 80/90. Personally I used Lucas b/c I go through about .5qt every 5K b/c my axle seals are leaking. New ones on the way.

that sucks, my driver side is leaking a little bit, nothing big yet. so thats a future project right after my swaybar end links for the front, the bushings are shot to hell.

Fix it. ECS has diff seals for like $6/ea. When I bought my car only the left/driver's one leaked, now both of them leak. The fortunate part is that I can fix it in class for "open shop" credit.

... Bushing shot is a good sign that you should upgrade the sway bar [;)]. They come with new bushings, it's like a sign or something.

any1 help me out? lol i kno you are supose to fill it to the fill hole or 1.75 lt or w/e but is it bad if ihave too much in there? i mean its not pouring out but if i take the fill plug out right now then it will start to dribble. and when i took it out to begine the fluid change it wasnt doing anything, so should i just let all of it dribble out?

i doubt it would make any difference as long as you dont waaayyyy overfill it somehow

if you have the fill plug removed and fluid isnt GUSHING out itll be fine

So should the diff cover be removed and the gears be sprayed down with brake cleaner like on Jeeps? Or is it good enough to simply replace the fluid?
