Ive got a 08 B7 S-line with the stock sport suspension. If I rap 19" RS4 reps in 245/25/19 tires will I need to worry about rubbing when Im loaded down?
Id like to get the slightly thicker side wall to fill the well gap a little, plus its also ways nice to have a little more rubber on the road.
They will be on the 19x8.5" ET38 VMR reps, and I know this set up is common, but I wanted to get some answers on rubbing, since I get different advise from different places on tire size.
Anyone running this exact set up?

on stock sport suspension you shouldn't rub. You don't have to run 245's either. I'll take pics of my set up. its 19x8.5 w/235 tires on H&R springs.

Well, if youre on H&R springs, you'll be lower than I am on the stock sport suspension. That means your wheel gap is probably just how you want it to look, where Im probably another 1"+ higher than you, which is why I want to get a slightly larger side wall.

245s?...damn, that's hella fat! haha jk ...you can run 235s and 225s no problems whatsoever. I'm running 215/35s on my 19x8.5s but my car is really low and I don't wanna rub at all...and I don't. [;)]
In the pic below...I was running 215s in the front and 235s in the rear...just playing with tire sizes. the 235s rubbed...so now I have 215s all around and it rides perfect!

I'm running 245/35/19 on 19" RS4 reps with Koni coilovers. With the CO's I'm not rubbing. Before I put on the CO's and was running stock suspension I still wasn't rubbing so you should be good.

So there is one confirmation that 245/35s wont rub on the B7 stock sport suspension.
Anyone else?

Those of you with spacers in the rears, do you tires hit the fender at all when hitting bumps?

I have VMR v715's on 245/35/R19's lowered with Vogtland GT's. My ride height is about 26" give or take(1 and a half fingers gap) from the ground to the fender and it rubs sometimes when I go through dips on the highway.

My ET is 32, so a little different but I'm not rubbing on the sport suspension.
