should clear with no problem...worst case run 5mm in the front and you will be perfect.

Are you the VRP that is so popular on the mbworld forums? Or am I completely off-base there?

yes i am, do you also own a AMG as well ?

QUATTRO: thanks for the reply... so 5mm or 10mm spacers would be perfect then, i assume my 19" summer rims wouldn't need the spacers and clear automatically ?

honestly, return them and get the following first. Your money will be better spent. Apr 93 octane reflash, rs4 sway bar, & apr or awe exhaust. This kit will net you real performance. Maybe throw in a set of hawk brake pads.

My dad had three off them.. 99 E55, 04 E55, 06 S55. I was a regular reader of the boards during those times. I'm pleased to see that our cars are even worth a look by someone involved with those beasts! Do you have an E55 too?

yes i have an E55 (W211 as well).. i just sold my BRABUS C-class W203 for this A4... my first love is always VW/AUDI... now if i can only fit these cayenne brakes into my stock 18's then i'll be a happy camper

I personally haven't seen anyone fit stock wheels over any BBK that is 14 inches.

I have to agree with nickel, those 14 inchers might be a little big for the stock wheels. Some nice 19s with enough curvature should clear them though..
Let's see some pics of the AMG! They are some phenomenal cars.

I have the ECS BBK on my car. I normally run 19 inch rs4 reps, but I can run them with the stock s line wheels and 5 mm spacers. They wont clear the 18 inch stock wheel without the spacers.

I like the brakes. They are work well and look like the old school RS2.

P.S. My car is an 06. I'm not sure what wheels the s lines come with now. If they are the same as 06 it will work.

14.5" Stasis/Alcons with stock 18" S-line wheels, no spacers.

Baur has stock Ti wheels with 14.5's as well and I believe he required a small spacer up front.

Mike,
I have that kit - the rotors suck!!! They are warped already and i have done all the necessary steps to bed them and all that crap. ECS does not know how to make rotors, i actually just emailed Adam at SPP to get me a new set of his custom rotors so i can send the ECS ones back!!! Got for the stoptechs or find a kit with the porsche brakes that run different rotors. The calipers are amazing, the stopping power of the 6 pistons are definately overkill - however on the track they are amazing. I have had a lot of success with them so far. I have the kit on stock titanium wheels with 8mm spacers all around - spacers are def needed!!

I want your brakes!!!! I drove a APR Stage 3 golf equipped with them and the stopping power is incredible (I never thought brakes would excite me as much as HP)

Does any one know how the stasis alcons compare to brembo's or stoptechs?

WOW... thanks for the pics SWOADRIDER !!! those things look crazy, i assume those are 6pot brakes...?

extremesport, thanks for the warning about the ECS rotors

Im glad that you proved me wrong, but I believe the ECS kit is much larger than the Alcon system. If you look at the size of the caliper it sticks out much more and also has more height.

Mono 4's. The sixpots do not work well with our master cylinder. I did a lot of research before I chose to go with Stasis/Alcon. One reason is that the Alcon calipers are some of the lowest profile one's you can get so they will clear a lot more wheel designs. Other reason was that they are specifically designed for our cars, race tested on Audi's, Formula 1 race tested, and have won 1st place in brake shoot-outs over the mainstream BBK builders.

I'm over buying parts for cars that are "pieced" together, for reasons previously mentioned in this topic.
