Hi,
I was curious how often (mileage) I should rotate the tires on my 2008 A4 with quattro. I was also curious what direction to rotate them to maximize life.
Is there an easy way to do it yourself without a lift? I have two jackstands.
Whats working for you guys?
Thanks,
Rich

1) buy 2 more jackstands
2) depends on how you drive but 5000 miles is a good number to swap. if you can get a tread gauge to measure it would be the best.
3) rotate front to back, you can go front to back and side to side too if you do not have directional tires.

I will get 4 jackstands in total. I assume these go where the jack should be lifting up the car?
I have the A4 Special Edition (with the 17 inch tires), I am not sure if they give directional or uni's (how do I tell)?
Should I do:
5000m front to back
10000m side to side
15000 front to back
20000 side to side
etc

It will say on the sidewall or have arrows pointing front.
