so i havent put an upgraded DV valve in my car, but i just want to know how could i tell if i tore it? and also could someone answer this, lately my car feels like its super slow until it hits 5k on the RPM, could it be the heat in LA and also running my AC really high? i am kind of confused...

Heat will make you lose a lot of power. I can feel it too since I live outside of LA. It's been 100+ the past 3-4 days.

About your DV, it will make a honking noise if it's torn.

It's not bad, you just won't be boosting at what you should be boosting at.

one more question, is it better to get the upgraded DV or just to Iforged, and whats the real difference

Get the forged DV if you're chipped, so you don't have to worry about it tearing again. If you're not then just get the upgrade DV. My .02 cents.

i say go upgraded, holds more boost and it will not tore as easy as oem. if you wanna pick up a forge dv let me know I can try to find you a good deal installed since you are local.

im picking up a forge dv, it also looks pretty =D
