how do our bulbs go in? There is not much room, but when i just put them in with the flat side up, they seem to pop out if you touch them..how the hell do these bulbs go in the halogen headlights?
They are for the lowbeam

...pretty sure you gotta remove the bumper to get proper access. here's a bump to get someone with more knowledge.

I'd help you but I don't have halogens... The space isn't that cramped, isn't it just the standard metal piece clamping it down like on previous models? Free bump though

I just took the cap off the back , stuck my hand in which was kinda cramped, yanked it out and put the new one in.pretty simple. the low beam is probably the easiest one to swap out of all of them, every other one requires headlight removal fo sho

I don't have halogens but I had a burnt out d1s hid bulb on my b6 and it's just a matter of taking off a couple of bolts up top and loosening some hidden on the lower part and the whole headlight assembly slides right out for easy and comfortable access to the back of the headlights.
I think the b7 is similar try audiworld.com or search this forum for the b7. My bixenons on my b7 hasn't gone out yet so I haven't ventured into it yet.

You should be able to just pop them out and in with the new.
It is not a HID kit you are trying to put in?

honestly I only changed the city lights once to hoen w5w's when I CC'd and painted the housings so I havent tried with the headlights actually on the car so you're probably right and I'm probably an idiot
