Thinking about installing a set of coilovers myself. Either H&R or Vogtland.
Never done an coilover install. Do you need any special tools besides your basic ones? Difficult job? Do they come with any type of directions? Thanks. Much appreciated.

I actually tackled this recently using Captain Obvious's DIY.
It was something ive never done before and honestly i'll never do it again.
I even had access to a lift and it still was a PITB.
You're going to need to rent some spring compressors if you're going to DIY.
You can rent them from just about any auto parts store.
Other than that if you have access to a lift it will make things a lot easier.
I can't imagine doing this on jack stands.

I did it using jack-stands..... don't ever want to do that again. If you've got the additional coin - just pay for someone to do it! Trying to save a few bucks for your other mods, diy it and make sure there are no small children or easily offended people around at the time. ;)
