Is 235hp the best i can get out of the tranni safley?

Is it true that apr chips have more lower end hp.

There is an individual on this forum with user name "Biketsai" that has a tip sedan with a BT. You might want to PM him and ask him personally or he just might chimmey in himself. I know he used to have an APR chip and now has a big turbo, so he would more than likely know the limits of the tranny.

I'd say around 300-350hp would be safe for the tranny, but it also depends on the condition of your car. What kills trannies is torque. APR chip is good and just about the sanme as any other chip.
Most power would come from a bigger turbo but it really depends what you are looking to do with the car and how deep your wallets are.

There are a few guys running GT28rs/GT2871r on their tips, there is even a guy named Tim on AW that is doing a GT35r 2 liter setup on his Tip.
