First of all I want to say I am new here and also say hello to all the men and women on this forum. I just had to share my experience today.

So I went to the audi dealer (after going there two weeks ago) today to place an order for the new A5 in brilliant black with all the options. When I got there the salesman asked me if I wanted a car today. He said he had theibis white with tan leather sitting on the lot. He told me that the guy that ordered it couldn't get the loan approved to purchase the car (might have been a sales gimmick but I didnt care.)

(At first I wasn't too sure about the white however my wife loved it and tried to convince me to order that instead of the Brilliant Black. )

After sitting in it and taking a long look at it, it started to grown on me and shortly thereafter I fell in love with it.

It pretty much had the all the options I wanted.

B&O Sound System.

I just love the interior on this car...plus the white color with some tinted windows will look awesome.

I'm paying sticker on it 46,290...or something like that

I put my down payment on it...I'm taking my 2003 accord on Monday to get it appraised for trade-in and hopefully I'm sitting in it on my way home by Monday evening.

Anyways now I get to drive it all summer long in NY.

As soon as I get it, I'll be posting some pictures..[drive][drive][drive]

Awesome choice - great color combo.

One quick thing - do NOT trade your vehicle in. You'll get jacked on value. Much better to take a few pics and drop it on craigslist.com or sell it outright. You'll come out way ahead.

It's hard to believe someone actually went to order an A5 and couldn't get a loan. It's hard to understand people sometimes. It doesn't really matter what you drive. I rather drive a Civic and live in a mansion than living in a cage, driving an A5.

I know exactly how the trade in works, however I had quite a few problems with the car and I would hate to know that I'm selling it to someone else knowing that it did have problems (the problems have been fixed).

I rather give it to the dealer and let them deal with it.

Good choice on the Accord. I'm not knocking it it's a fine car but I doubt there's that much of a difference in value to hassle with selling it yourself, plus then you don't get the tax credit.

You are going to love the A5 and it looks great in Ibis white. My local dealership (oh excuse me, stealership) had a loaded Ibis A5 S-line that the original person who ordered the car backed out of. It was available for 3 days before someone bought it for (shock) MSRP!
