Streets of Willow is only about 2 hrs away from OC and Buttonwillow is about 3 1/2. Both amazing tracks to run on. I go every month.

Socal has an abundance of tracks, unless you really want to drag race.

Willow Springs, Streets of Willow, Buttonwillow and Fontana are all within about 2 hours of LA. Take out Buttonwillow and they're all less than 2.

Then you have Spring Mountain in Pahrump and Laguna Seca which are further but certainly worth the drive.

I don't see the appeal of drag racing an audi. seems like taking a knife to a gun fight. just not what the car was built for. but different strokes for different folks

taking your car to a 1/4 mile is fun and exciting imo. It isnt only fun taking your car down the track but it is fun watching everyone else too. What was the car built for? since you seem to know. because I can tell you most of the cars that go to a 1/4 mile track are not made for it. technically...

as i said different strokes for different folks. it's hardly built for driving on a road course either
