APR Dealers w/ Free Reflash

I've seen a few posts that some APR shops/dealers do charge for reflashing and others don't.
it seems almost inevitable that anyone with APR chip would sooner or later have to get it reflashed after the ECU reset/update by Audi service dept. and it'd make sense to get chipped at a shop that offers free reflash after the initial installation.
so if you know of any APR shops in So. Cal that offer free reflash, please respond and share the knowledge.

as a starter, Ingolstadt West did offer free reflash as of September 2007, before the management change.
can anyone confirm if they still offer free reflash?

u dont even need to reflash. because just tell ur dealership u dont want the ECU upgrade. and they wontdo it for u.

but don't you want to update your ECU as recommended by Audi?
knowing that APR will update their software as Audi releases ECU updates, I'd like to keep my car up to date with Audi as well as APR.

reflashing your ecu will help cure some problems with your car which is a good thing...

go on aprs site and call around to see if they charge to reflash. where I got my revo they dont charge to reflash, part of the great customer service they offer!

this thread wasn't created for my own benefit only.
if there's a list of dealers that offer free reflash, it could help AZ members make better decisions....after all, no one wants to pay extra $ for reflash, right?

what if the company you got the ecu flash from does not offer free reflashes but you want to get it reflashed at a free reflashing shop? that free reflashing shop would probably charge wouldn't they

If I remember correctly .. Eurocode and Genesis don't charge for re-flashing.

Genesis Autosport is so far the only shop that's been confirmed to offer free reflash (for the customers that had ECU flash done at Genesis, of course).

Eurocode is mixed...some said it was free and some said it wasn't (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=209297)

Ingolstadt West used to provide free reflash before the management change...can someone confirm if they still do it for free for their customers?

PureMS just announced yesterday that they won't charge labor for the APR reflash...
In response to the thread where GMG justified their reasoning in charging $115 in labor fees for a flash.

Ingolstadt West does offer free reflashes...Genesis Autosport is a distributor for Ingolstadt West. They will help you out with anything.
