hey guys, already searched but i couldn't find anything conclusive hope u guys can help!

got in to the car this morning to wet carpet in the driver's side floor. the leak seems to have come from the area beside the hood latch under the steering wheel. i pooped the hood and found a puddle under the battery. is there a drain somewhere that is clogged? i just had my car painted, could it be the painter didn't put something back?

If you remove the battery, you will find the drain under it blocked with leaves and stuff. Clear it and hopefully problem solved

There are two drains - one under the batt. like Mawhitey said, & another one near the brake master cylinder. Pull out the funnel shaped rubber grommets for thorough cleaning. Gunk can sometimes build-up, w/c can lead to flodding.

the box that the ecu is in may not be seated right if this is so you will have a big leak there and another place I would look is at the weather strip on the door jamb when I had my truck repainted they did not put the weather stripping back in all the way and it leaked all over the floor hope this info helps

thanks for the replies guys. kinda lost though (sorry ive only had my car for a couple of weeks) can anyone point me to where these are? like a picture maybe? i know where the drain under the battery is, not so sure about the weather strip on the door jamb and the funnel shaped rubber grommets. pardon my ignorance haha!
