Howdy - for those of you who remember my post a few months back, the love of my car life, Iggnshn, died as a result of an oil pump failure and sludge buildup (previous owner + non-synthetic oil = sadness). However, I quote from my previous post, MOTOR BLOWN! My message of love for my car~~~,

"However, though it appears that the car has seen its last days, I know it hasn't.

That dream came true for me on June 17, 2005. That dream will stay alive. That's why, in my entire paragraph, I never once said that the Audi had died. It is merely hibernating, waiting to be reborn again.

The dream is alive, ladies and gents, and I will be back with a whole other project - The car is not the machine, it's what is put into the machine and what drives the machine. See you soon, AZ --- IGGNSHN and MioStile aren't going anywhere!"

Full story---> http://audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=191424

And, low and behold, IGGNSHN has returned - the same car in a different body - 2007 DTM S4, Sprint Blue, 6 Speed!!!!!! Again, the car isn't the machine, it's what drives the machine, and I am so happy to be back in action!

(The SoCal Sprint blues DEFINITELY need to pic it up within the next few weeks!)

So, as the new will build upon the old, it is only right to show off some of my favorites of the old (can find more of the B6 in my linked post)...and plenty of the new (haven't even begun snapshotting yet)!

WE ARE DEF PARKING TOGETHER AT THE MAY 18TH MEET!

haha I think we have exactly the same car minus the wheels. Your car looks amazing, Channad, and really looking forward to meeting up with you in person. What's your favorite part so far? I think the funniest thing is the sunshade!

All of the s4 guys said the s4 was another league - and now I finally understand!

I was trying to keep costs low! LOL! So I didn't order mine with the following:

sunshade
parking sensor
heated rear seats

For the most part, our cars are identical. I only found one 2007 in the Midwest, when I was looking last year. It didn't have Bose, so I said noze.

btw...I'm sure you know, but if you do a spirited run...turn ESP off [;)]

oh, and I like this shot the best, so I did a little photoshop to it:

You know whats funny. I had DTM bumper on my 06 2.0T and I got sick of it. I really like my S4 bumper with Ti RS4 Grill alot better. Either I just got sick of the bumper or I just like my S4 bumper better. Im not saying that the DTM is gross.

Anytime, the photoshop is pretty easy...and, yes, I'm still thinking about the Fikse wheels. I just found out they don't do 19s. So I'll have to go with 18s. Everyone will be like...why didn't you go 19? The 18s will be better for the track though.

I'm also thinking about these Ultraleggera's in 18. They are light, and strong, however, they are not forged. But I can get the entire set for the price of almost 1 and a half Fikse wheels!

Ultraleggeras are gorgeous! They will look bigger than a 3 piece 18 because of the lack of rivets. The only thing - they are a bit ubiquitous - and if you want to keep that rare look going another wheel option might work. But don't get me wrong, they will look amazinggggggggg!

I'm going to try and make it out - all depends on schoolwork in all honesty. But, I'm really going to try!

Does anyone know if the Audi center caps will work with OZ wheels? I like the Ultraleggeras, but I'm honestly not a fan of the carbon center caps.

Thanks!
