I know all you guys were patiently waiting to see pics of my new Avant, wanting to see it all its stock splendor and all[rolleyes] But anyways here she is, 125k on the clock and the guy didnt even charge me extra for the dents, scratches or dog hair( i think i would have rather bought a car from a smoker[headbang] ) But it looks ok and only set me back $4G's. Oh its an 01' with plenty of dealer maintenece, free roof racks and it doesnt need anything to drive. I bought a set of the Celebration 17"ers and I'll be putting those on there. Tell me what you think

Thanks guys, yeah its got 125,000 miles, but runs like alot less! Car was used for a lot of highway trips. Timing belt has been done, everything is up to snuff, except its on the original clutch. Does this have the dual mass flywheel like my old 02' Jetta 1.8t? Can use a g60 flywheel and VR6 clutch like i did in that car? Sorry guys roofrack is staying with me!

Looks good. So, the timing belt has been changed twice, right? What are your plans with it?

04-22-2008, 04:33 PM
Nope, just once at 125k, i thought the interval was every 80k? or should it be 60k? Either way i'm good for a while. Plans, well for now, i bought some 17" celebration wheels, i'll do a suspension, H&R sport, maybe race, and billies and a chip. I think i'm going to drop the tranny and do the clutch as preventative, but, it still feels pretty strong. Buy a stock front valance and give it a good detail first. Nothing crazy, yet.

Great Deal man. 4k!! Shit if I found an Avant like that in my area for that price I would cough up the cash in a heartbeat!! Great deal. Throw some V-Maxx coils on it and chip it to make yourself happy.
