So I wash my car after a week of being out of town, and afterwards I notice a distinct burning smell. I look around to find out it is my rear driver's side brake. I drive back home (because I had to!) and it's been sitting ever since. I'll have some time a little later on to check it out, but what are some possibilities? First thing I can think of is the handbrake cable is stuck on, or something along those lines. Didn't really check the passenger's side, but that one might be stuck also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will take pics tonight when I get it taken apart. Thanks alot.

I had a similar problem. The rear caliper wasn't retracting properly. Served as a great excuse to upgrade to a S4 rear brake setup.
