OEM Wheel Finish

Just went with new OEM Wheels. They will be here tuesday. Is there anything to put on them before they get mounted to help keep them "protected". Is wax something that should be put on each face ?

I hope this doesn't sound to odd for me to ask. lol [O_O]

any wax or sealant is ok, you can also find "wheel wax".
