thinking about selling the whip, wondering how much i can get for it.

its a 1999.5 A4 1.8t quattro, has only 41,200 miles on it... but no mods done.
comes with 20% tints and a sound system( 2 12" subs, new type-s speakers in front & back, alpine deck and amp) also has some red neons on the inside with control switches...

completely clean car with no major problems or scratches, has had oil change every 2000 miles.

the car is perfect for a blank slate for any enthusiasts that find it fun modding up older cars.

so anyway, how much do you think i could get?

go to kbb.com but they are high in their estimates lately so assume their price is on the upper side of what you could get for it.

a lot of it depends on who is looking to buy the car also... you can get more money out of certain people and others are out looking for a bargain...

Ya prob around 6, 7 dollars tops. Maby $7.50 if your lucky.

Is it stick or auto? Seems like this board is a good equalizer for nationwide pricing. I'd think you could get mid 6 to mid 7's on this board. If it is auto, you might be able to get mid 7's to mid 8's on the open market. At least this holds true for the Michigan area.

Call your local bank and ask for the loan value. Add about 15% to that figure should give you a good idea (at least for newer vehicles).

lol to people that think u can only get 6k for it. It has 40k miles people. Thats an avg of like 5k miles a year. People pay like 20k for cars with that kind of mileage. Not necessarily a 99 a4. But its still great mileage.

Id say you could EASILY get 7k for it.

I sold my 97 A4 for 6k last year with a new suspension....the buyer actually asked me to take out the system in it. Since your car has significantly less miles then I had and is 2 years newer, I'd say put it up for $8000 and let them talk you down to $7500-$7250. Good luck with the sale!
