Anyone know how to remove the 99.5-01 A4 hazard switch? Besides taking off the trim, it seems to be rather puzzling...

pretty sure you need to take the trim....says it pays 1.4 hours labour.

Right on, diode. exactly same symptoms/solution I had to do in mine.

that's the right procedure. my bloody dealer wanted $200 to do it. what a rip off.
I didn;t even needed the tools.

I used old credit cards to slip in and pry loose the face plate.

good luck.

well i've tried prying out the old switch with just a regular screwdriver and a few other small things and nothing... i'm gonna get one of those 90degree pick tools that are pictured in that link this weekend and we'll see what happens.

i did this like 2 weeks ago. all i did was put my figures on top of the trim and pull down and saw that it was starting to give and it came off real easy
