For those who've read my first thread thread you know that im having issues getting VAG or a code reader to connect to my car. From everyones advice i went to Ross techs website ( http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/aftermarket-radio.html )and i thought my fix was close. I tested the voltage between pin 4 and 7, sure enough it was 12v so i was positive it was my K line. Disconnected the K wire from the harness. as shown in the diagram below and thought that would fix it. Unfortunately it didnt. Im still reading 11.70 volt between pins 4 and 7. and i still CANT connect to my car. I have a CEL and running limp but no clue why.

PS, someone also suggested disconnecting my ABS module and see if that would do anything, unfortunately it didnt. Anyone? please!
