What is the best way to get sticker gunk off windows? It looks like the sales sticker got fried onto my side window, and I need to clean it up before I take her to get some tints.

The ways I'm accustom to using are:

1) Razor Blade
2) Hair Drier
3) WD-40

Is one better than the other for my glass? Or is there some better way to get the gunk off safely?

I normally use window cleaner and a razor blade. Wipe off with a microfiber.

first, razor blade....OR like 1sicka4 said, goof-off, let it sit for a minute and then razor blade it up. Finish up with some stoners invisible glass and an MF

3M adhesive remover and a hair dryer. Warm it up first, spray on the 3M adhesive remover, and then slowly start peeling. Spray more 3M if the stuff is still resisting. Should come right off without worrying about scratching the window with a razor.

I'd go with the window cleaner and the razor blade. Make sure you never hold the razor perpendicular to the glass and you should have no worries potentially scratching the glass. In fact, you'd have to intentionally try and etch the glass in order to scratch it. Also, don't do this if you have aftermarket tint.

I use Goo-gone and a towel.

Soak it with a wet sponge and razor blade it. You can follow up with some prepsolve or goo gone to get rid of adhesive reidue and finish with some glass cleaner.

razor blade should do the job, however if your going to get the windows tinted they should clean the windows completely before they tint them
