And you still have a boost/vac leak, will your car still have a bouncy vacuum?

This mostly pertains to my 2001.5 with MAP sensor. Just wondering if unplugging the MAF will "mask" the bouncy/rough vacuum at idle if you still have major vac leaks.

Thanks

iono if this helps, but whenever i used to start my car and forget to plug the sensor back (no leaks), it would idle very rough still

Well i just need to know if, right now, with my MAF unplugged, is it possible for me to still have a very leaky system AND a steady idle.

BTW i hadn't seen a steady idle in my car for over a year until i unplugged the maf.

I just need to know if my system may still be leaky....even tho my idle is steady now.
