Thanks Eugene for takin' pics and of course Ken for the numbers [up] Once I hit the 48 on my second run I was content and decided to mess around on the 3rd run. I know that drift you caught was one of three today and the one shown is the only one I tried to do. The last two turns I also tried to whip it out but my timing was off and I ended up comming in too hot [:D]

Aww man I'm so jealous. They had to cancel our autox today because there were 40mph wind gusts and they figured that would be torture for the course workers.

The 6th run group it was too dry for the rain tires, so i put the big steam rollers on the miata. But being a single driver the tires were never able to get any heat. Its all good, Tom comes back from Mexico this week.

Wow, that vid turned out well! As I was only experimenting with your camera, I didn't know if most of the pics would come out, let alone the vid. Nice job there Mo [up] You've got mad driving skills [drive]

Thanks, your words are to kind because I have so much room for improvement. Cant you tell since I always hit up you, Benny, and Ken w/ questions LOL...

The pics and video are alot more clear on the PC. I guess youtube takes away at least half of the quality.

12VPower... next event is in Berkeley at Golden Gate Fields on March 9th. If you want to ride just come look for me but im running the last run group (group 6) so that means its gonna be late in the afternoon.

hey Mo did you fly past me this morning on 680S (in concord) around 9:30ish? Not used used to this new Bimmer of yours but it seems like you're everywhere [drive]

I didn't realize you're the Scott driving that wicked Miata! Real fast times despite cold tires. Next time I'll come by and say hi [:D]

yeah scott we were surprised that mike got you. but then you had the wrong tires for the day.

ohh, mo, you can run a front sway bar : ) let me know I'll you get a set, and you can save the rear one for after you win DS-N. pulling the rear bar out will help reduce the oversteer, not that you being you would want to do that though : )

Yeah that was me. I was late getting to SJSU. Since I work in the field, I am all over the place sometimes [:D]

I was reading the basics of stock and it damn near says I can change stuff but only w/ factory options. I dont even know if my springs pass. Whats funny, is they would however let me bore the motor and add any air filter though.

Email me some quotes on the front sway anyway.

Thanks

yeah, there are pretty interesting stock rules. its normally, shocks, exh, air filter (not intake) and front sway.

Cool to see some of the Audi guys out there again... Was out there in my 335i with bald rear tires. Was still quite a bit of fun even with the extreme delays. Don't know if you guys know Bryan Heitkotter... but he takes pics at many autoXs. Here's the Oakland one: http://www.pbase.com/bryanh/ax022408

He got a really cool shot of my car mid-drift (last pic in the above series). I pshopped the tape out and prepped for my site...

Nice shot and your times bettered me by 1 second I think. Maybe more? Im sure that was your BMW in the parking lot as it was the only 335 I saw that day.

Yeah I didn't see any other E9x series BMWs out there that day either so it was probably me.

I ran a 47.0xx on my best run, which I thought was OK for the wet-ish pavement, and bald runflat tires. :)

it just doesn't look right when you autox, and there are fewer than 3 people in the car banging their helmets around. ; )

chow:PM on its way.

I know! And now that I have 3x 3-point seat belts in the rear, I can stuff 5 people in there.

Hmm... AZ meet at the next autoX... in my car? :D

Nice to see you rockin that 335! With the right tires, looks like a lethal car for stock [up]

Even though some may not like the look, I am curious or anticipating someone to fix up a 135 and do some damage [:)]

Yeah I think I'm going to stick in the street tire class and see how it runs in there. Too much of a PITA to change tires at the track for me and I'm not running competitively.

Yeah 135 may be pretty fast but it isn't fast enough to make up for it's fugliness.

I still cant believe your on run flats [eek] I guess its the smar thing to do though and just get better tires once you run these out. I have seen some new 335 owners swap tires right off the bat and thats crazy IMO.

Yeah I just burned them up and am going with normal tires this time around... Didn't want to just throw them out when they're new.
