.64a/r is probably ideal for a street setup but some people that have gone .86 a/r don't really notice too much of a difference, i think it is about a 300-400rpm different in spool

A few guys at my school (but they have GTI's so it is a completely different motor) isn't that usually the case larger A/R longer it takes to spool?

.64 a/r is awesome. 2860rs would full boost at 3k rpm's. I don't know how much more streetable you could ask for than that.

basically same motor, very few differences... larger turbine A/R shifts your powerband to the right and peak power will be more...

what would be the best exhaust housing for a external wastegate
The .64 and .86 housing that everyone is recommending are both T25 housings that have an internal wastegate built in. There's not really any point in using either of those if you've decided to us an external wastegate. A T3 .63 housing is a much better choice: http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ATP-HSG-038&Category_Code=HSG

300whp is not enough [:D] go at least a gt3071r you will regret it [up].

The 2876 seems like kind of an odd turbo to me, 76mm compressor with a 53mm turbine..... You should definitely go either 3071 or 3076 with a T3 housing. I made the mistake of getting the 3076 with the t25, and I'm seriously regretting it now.

yea that was a while ago..back when he had a paint booth in his dorm shower lol. But he did indeed have an .86...and he used to beat up on another forum car w/ .64. Those were highway runs though.

NO RC INJECTORS... get a injector with the correct spray pattern for 20v heads... you will also need rods for this power level... if you want help to build a complete kit, let me know [up]
