So the other day i started to install my 1 piece headlights with the 6k HIDs. As of right now they are on the car but don't really flow into the fender as nice as i would like them to, and there is a little bit of a gap. Just wonder exactly how much of the fender i actually have to trim off so that everything will line up and be flush and not look like a hack job.[up]

I ended taking off about a 1/4" with a grinder for mine. I taped everything off with metal tape and really took my time. Don't forget to touch it up with some paint. Sorry no pictures... Take your time...

the line is there for you, your just cutting the part of the fender hidden by your existing corner light. the write-up on audiworld is perfect. only thing it doesn't do, is do it for you ;)

your gonna wanna cut as much as you can without cutting anything that isnt covered up by the headlight.

i wasnt happy at first, and went back and recut more off and all was gravy.. at first i didnt want to cut too much, but then i realized after cutting any there was no going back anyways

thats the point that im at right now, its off a little and is a little gap and i am deciding wheather or not to go back and re-cut some so that it will fit better, but then again i do not want to cut too much off.

Buy new face lift fenders, then you won't have to cut anything, but you'll have to buy fenders, corner lights and have them painted ..... [rolleyes]

That probably didn't help ..... [:D]
