Ok so when i first got the hammer file my car would only boost to 10psi....i later found out that one of the vac lines had popped off. so i put it back on and now it has CRAZY surging. Like it will spike to 25 then drop down to 15 and back up to 18 then to 14 and then 18 to 14 over and over. Ugh spent so much money allready and all i get is problem after problem. [:(] anyone have any input? Some say it could be the n75 so maybe i should get a MBC?

Also: I did a pressure test today and i didnt see any leaks or hear any anywhere.

Mods are in my sig.

Thanks alot

-Brooks

Perhaps your N75 has taken a poop? See if you can borrow another one and swap it in and see if it changes anything

check to see if the vacuum lines to the n75 aren't pinched.

get the MBC, take it to 12 or so and ride around a few blocks, then inch your way up to 18-20, see if it surges at all... might need to adjust your waste gate? anyone?

First off do you have a Vagcom? If you do, you might want to log block 003 or 054 while you have the issue to see if the throttle is closing because of over boost. The hammer file shouldn't have that problem but what you are describing sounds exactly like the throttle is closing to control boost.

I read a response to a thread by Onemoremile I think it was whom said that the n75 should be replaced often. It is a part that is supposed to be replaced regularly. But maybe it was not him whom said so. There are 2 things I can suggest. I am no expert, but maybe upgrade to the n75h (j is the one that gives many problems) http://www.034motorsport.com/index.php?cPath=21_33. If that does not work, then get an MBC bleeder type valve.

I'd put my money on the WG being too tight, the only reason it wouldnt be that is b/c your MAP sensor should help so a tight WG wouldnt allow it to surge, but check and see how tight it is, I'd recommend hold the WG closed, tightening the nuts down o the actuator so they just tough, and then do 3-5 fulkl turns tighter...no more than that for now

if it is doing that what would my problem be?...
