View Full Version : mudflaps - help needed

02-02-2008, 04:08 PM
so i decided to buy some generic mudflaps at checker auto today, as the salt and dirt on the road is less than loving towards the paint(and it looks bad ass).

so i was wondering, how low do you guys think i should mount them(in other words, how much ground clearance should i give them?

and is there anything behind the fenderliner that i should be concerned about putting the screws into?

fuck. so i went to jack my car up w/ the widowmaker and take off each wheel so that I could install these, but the stock lug wrench doesnt work with my Flik Justices. Anyone else ever have this problem?

yea i dont think my stock wrench will work with my ASA's either. Iirc, its all polygon-shaped right? i usually just use the air gun. its easier [:D]

someone on AW said i should just turn the front wheels and do it that way for the fronts.
i did. it worked alright. but im only half way satisfied with the result. i should have made them more level and stuck them out to the sides more. oh well. function over form for now, i might redo them next winter.
