My dads truck got a drip of sap down the side of the door. Whats the best way to take care of this? TIA.

bug and tar remover from an auto parts store, that stuff works wonders

Kerosene, WD, bug and tar, alcohol,, make sure you wash and wax the area afterwards.

Kerosene? Serious? Haven't tried that one. None of the rest will get cottonwood sap off. I soak it with cleaner wax. Works.

Yep, works pretty good. Especially on tar and saps.
