guy selling a MKIV R32 MAf housing with K&N filter for $50 shipped (http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3616051&postid=44801402) He says it needs a 4" hose to fit it so it might be perfect for what you want. If your not able to get that Bahn Brenner sells a 4" billet housing for $89.95.

Tapp sells a 630 tune for the ford maf.
1. Are all lightning maf's the same? Not sure which one to look for.
2. Do I need that maf sensor, or will my stock sensor work with the new 4" maf?

yes that is the correct item... you will need the ford pigtail (about $30), which you can get via chris tapp (eurodyne) or arnold (pagparts)... i have the wiring diagram for which wires go where, let me know if you need it [up]
