i really liked the plaid trim ive seen lately, and im looking to do something like it in my car, so i borrowed a picture of my same interior (- the suede) and photoshopped the trim. let me know what you think, im still undecided.

I like this kind but I'm not sure how I would cut it to get the lines to flow.

thats the fabric i based it on, though i made my own pattern with a navy blue instead of red, just to try and tie the colors of the car into it. i would cut it at a slight angle. the plaid to the left of the wheel looks a bit to angled, i think it looks better on the rest of the trim.

never really liked this idea, kinda looks like your hangin up curtains man.
I think painting them santorin blue would look better with the car IMO.
But whatever suits you is what counts i guess

What about around the Shift nob? that area of trim of trim going plaid too? I like it but wouldn't it be cooler if you could make it a fiber glass/glossy finish and plaid?

i was thinking about doing the acutal shift boot in plaid too, but i didnt feel like photoshopping it. i didnt think about putting some kind of gloss finish on it... that would be cool if i could figure out a good way to do it.

I have some authentic Burberry cashmere if you would like to purchase it... have it in grey, red, camel, baby pink, or light blue.... its the novacheck pattern as shown above, but its in a cashmere blend:

Isn't it the same way you do it on sub woofer boxes? Fiber glass paste or something. It's kind of late but I'd look it up

Maybe if u had a DONK it would look good but not an audi. The suede wrap looks good but not he plaid man. Not my cup o tea!

I've seen that wrap in a VW before....possibly my friends MKIV, but I cant remember, it looks really nice...but I dont know if its an Audi thing...they are more refined cars

I like that color much better than some of the other ones. I say go for it! I like suede much better though...and if you are going to go plaid please dont use a brown or tan unless it matches your interior.

I wouldn't trade my wooden trim for anything but come on...That's really clean! I especially like the black dash with white accents. Though, post an original pic! Show everyone the difference.
