I think my DV is torn. Not getting CEL but feels like Pre-Chipped.

How hard is it to replace DV myself? I like working on cars...

I've DIYed snub mount before. Do i need more mechanical skills?

Its about the same level of skill required. Getting t-handle hex wrench's helps a lot.

It's just a bit more difficult than the snub mount. You don't have that much space to move around in so you need the right tools or it's gonna take you forever. The first time I replaced it took about 2-3 hours. I only had a ratchet screwdriver and it barely fit. I can only turn it a couple of mm at a time and that took me a while to remove the 3 bolts connecting it to the turbo, especially the top one. It was much easier though the next time after I bought an L/T type hex wrench set and took me just about 40 mins to complete the job.

That made me feel better... I am assuming just take off the old one and put new one on? Nothing else required like how Forge DV gets installed? Forge DV installation looks little complicated...

You should be able to use the Forge DV install as a guide to help you remove the old DV... once you have that off... you should be able to put it back on... no?
