Engine building section?

I don't see anywhere anyone talks specifics about engine building, tuning, and things specific to an engine model.

Instead of having to dig around the b5/b6 forums for 1.8t info, and b7/a3 for 2.0t, maybe each engine can have its own sub-forum?

I'm looking for specifics here too, not chips and bolt ons. How much power stock bottom ends can hold. What people use for new rods/pistons. How well the stock cranks hold power. Topics of that nature.

Or, does everyone just chip it, and BT it? I'm coming from a Honda background where chips != power.

We've had engine forums in the past and they didn't get much use. The tech subforums within the Main Model-Line Forums seem to be a better option. We could try it again though if the demand were there.

And yes, most just do exhaust and software. If you want more then you get a BT kit. With the 1.8T and 2.0T a simple software upgrade does wonders, most don't see a need to get much crazier than that.
