The limiting factor w/DSG is torque. That's why Porsche, etc. haven't come out with their system yet. I know the Veyron has DSG, but's probably a $100K gearbox.

I agree 100% about the low tq/high rpm having a role in how fun a dual-clutch tranny is. When I had my last S2K, I thought a DSG-type tranny would be AWESOME - like a 4-wheeled motorcycle.
