I have Vogtland coilovers and at the max height I'm still sitting lower than I wan to be. My installer said that there was a part I could purchase that attaches to the perches of the coilovers to lift the height. Has anyone heard of something like this?

Thanks

If you want to be so high in the air, why did you even bother to buy coilovers? [confused]

The part the guy is talking about is just a machined spacer that goes between the spring and the coil perches. It looks pretty much just like the adjustment perches, except it's not threaded.

At max height I'm at 25 inches fender to ground and am rubbing on bumps.

My rear tires rub, if i was 25 1/4 in the back I would be fine.

what rear tires are you running? 245/35 all around? i'm at about 25 front and 25 1/5" rear, running 19x10 with 265/30 in the rear with no rub. you can always adjust your camber a little bit negative, i'm currently at 1.7 degrees negative in the rear and surprisingly camber wear is at a minimum. I just got the rear tires flipped to the opposite sides a few weeks ago after 10,000 miles on the tires.

your offset for the wheels is wrong. you should not rub at 25 even with 245/35.

I have 35 offset in back (38 in front) on 19x8 wheels. if i adjust the toe as close to zero as possible will that help?

Something doesn't sound right with the installation.
My car is at 25.5" on the Vogtlands, and I can easily raise it another inch if I wanted to.

If your car is stuck at 25" and it won't go higher, you may have an issue with either the installation, or your installer has no idea what he's doing.

Even this car is about 25.25" with lots of room to go higher or lower.

Mike do you know a shop in the LA (Santa Monica) area that I could have take a look at the installation? Maybe I need a 2nd opinion as I've taken the car back twice to the installer and he seems assured that it can't safely go any higher.

Sorry I do not.
I've know of Eurotech up in that area, but I can't wholeheartedly recommend them.
