just be careful not to put them in the over for too long or they will start chaning shapes lol

i put mine in the oven for 170 degrees, for 10 minutes, and then another 10 minutes once they were put back together.
I read that 150 degrees was good to use, but 170 was the lowest temp my oven would go.. if you think about it 150 is not that hot, its not like its hot enough to melt plastic at.
And also, i have no leaks or fogging.

But i guess the real challenge would be painting them. but like i said there is DIY out there of people doing this, and they make it seem pretty easy.

i found painting to be the easiest...maybe cause ive done a lot of it

Do you guys just use the silicone thats on it or do you add more when u are all done and putting it back together? Mine seems a little loose to begin with already and water gets all in the seams when I wash it so baking it would probably make it worse I would think. TIA

hell, i could do it as well. let me know if your interested.

when i sealed mine up, I put extra silicone just to be safe in areas where are not visible. I rather have extra silicone then get moisture in my lights.
