turbonetics t3t4 turbo 57trim 48.ar has 63 front wheel this turbo is ported out for more flow and also has a heat coated exhaust housing. will sell for $450 no shaft play. very clean turbo

was wondering if this was a good idea. and also what else will i need to make this turbo work on my car. i have a 2001 1.8t. [wrench]

manifold, fuel, rods(if you want to push more than 300whp),exhaust, intercooler, ecu..etc

go for it, but the turbo is the cheapest part of the build.

yeah im def. gonna do it, i'll just peice it together over time. thanks guys. any more info on manifold and and injectors would be greatly appriciated,

The info you gave us doesn't make sense, 63 front wheel would be the size of a part of the compressor wheel or the trim, in your case it's wrong. Also, a 57 trim in a .48 a/r housing is a very bad match for a 1.8 motor, just giving you a heads up.

Really ok good thing someone told me haha. I'm not lookibg for insane power rite now maybe around 250. I would be happy that. What turbo shold go for then.

The injectors and manifold are the least of your worries. You need to figure out what tune you are going to be using before even thinking about anything else. I don't think any chip tuners sell a kit for a turbo like that. You would have to go custom (expensive, time consuming). I wouldn't even consider standalone for your car. For 250 hp I'd go with an eliminator.

That turbo sucks. Last person to run it couldn't make any real power with it. You might want to check on the B6 forum since thats who tried to run it. Your better off buying a Elim, full GT2871 or just buy a turbo kit.
