So after A 40min drive I got home and parked my car, went inside, remembered that I forgot to buy something at the store went out again, started the car and afer 30sec it died. All warning lit (I have the big DIS).
So I take the key out and start it up again, no problem, press the check-button, all ok, then it dies again a few sec later.
So it seemes that it dies after 30sec of the engine running.
Help!?! I'm towing it to Audi tomorow, but a clue or hint what this could be would be good. Thanks.

Sound like a computer issue. Run vag-com if you have it otherwise drive the loaner audi service gives you and pray it is an S5 (just kidding)
Good luck

its most likely a fuel pressure sensor issue. We have seem them start to crap out a lot recently. Audi just put out a re-design, but so many of them are failing they are on national backorder. Our dealership has 28 on backorder.

Wow... That really sucks for us/them... (More them than us) but what tha hell... Just gotta bite the sour apple and be glad it's still a new car (07) so they won't charge for anything.
Thanks for all the help and the very quick responses.

Just wanted to say thank you for the input, guys above.
I called the dealership monday morning just to check if they had time to take my car and look at it, and they acted like perfect customer care personal, they sent a towing truck right away (within 20min after I made the phone call he was there to take my car).
So the dealership took it it ahead of everybody else, switched the fuel pressure sensor (I think), and even though it took 20min to fix they offered a free rental for the day.
That's what I call service!
NO CHARGE!
Thanks again for the quick answers here on the forum.

You can help your fellow Audiziners if you could please get details on what got fixed... It should say on your invoice (even though it was warranty work, you should still get an invoice bill that says it costed you $0.00 from the service guys) Just for future reference... THANKS!! Great to see your car is back on it's feet.
