But it isn't exactly convenient, the cup holder below the armrest still triumphs overall :P

However it would be nice if it were possible to reroute the audio cable behind the console somehow so that it's more aesthetically pleasing

It's actually not so good a location if you're in the habit of accelerating or cornering quickly as the iPhone will fly out of that spot. Don't as me how I know [headbang]

i tried puttin there but it flew out in less than 10 secs i remeber theres a thread here someone converted the ash tray to a holder which was really nice but i havent do it yet

Somewhat off topic..BUT..

I went to place my garage door opener in there (I don't like the crease it leaves on the sun visor) and it closed but I guess it was still too large; now its stuck. Any ideas?

I've tried a knife to push down the garage door opener down but no success.
