im developing my own compressor map calculator for vag-com logs.

this is the first output with some assumptions builts in..mainly about the pre- and post turbo flow restrictions...so its accuracy is questionable :)

this is using only the MAP and MAF logs directly...not using the typical VE calculations.

I plan on doing the VE calculation also to see how well the two methods match [wrench]

So at about 18psi the turbo is still ~70% efficient at 6500 rpm? Or am I reading it wrong? I'm kinda assuming that the end of the line on the x axis is 6500 rpm...

If I'm reading it right, wheres this "brick wall" that every BT guy likes to bust on K04 guys for.

No, that's for the K04-015. Straight from BorgWarner. ModifiedA4 and I have been doing some homework on this. He's gotten much further than I have, though :-)

Let me in this sweet K04 cluuubbbbbb.

I'm loving the interest thats been apparent lately in squeezing all the power out of small turbos.

Haha, it's not a club, just a couple guys trying to understand the K04 better and how different tuning uses it.

"2075" is the internal BW designation for the compressor wheel. "k04-15" is a made up designation by marketing people and various tuners. :)

actually its written in Delphi (pascal) not VB, i didnt want tohave include run time .dll's and ocx's just so people could run it lol.

but thank you for the compliments!

i made a FATS calculator for the s4 guys and a Big turbo CAPS calculator which utilizes a higher powerband as some people requested! the thread about them is here if you wanna check it out:

im currently working on a version (though it wont be some time till its released) that will do the datalogging automatically, youll just have to push the start button, and it will stop automatically once it has adequate time stamps, and calculate the caps time from the data it gathers over the vag cable
