View Full Version : Headlight installation that hard?!?

Do we have to remove the bumber to get new headlights and foglights in? Seems a little excessive to me. I read the thread about how to take the bumper off, I am just worried about it not fitting right when I put it back on or scrathcing it when I am taking it off.
never had to remove the headlights, but for fog on the s-lines, you just need to remove the fog grilles, held by tabs, to access the torx screws.

Someone (sorry, don't remember who) was able to take the headlights off without dropping the bumper but it was still a huge PITA. Just put down a beach towel when you take it off so you don't scratch it, it will align fairly easily as well. I am not going to say it's fun though, I have been procrastinating taking mine off so I can paint my headlights.

Got the fogs in, thanks for the advice on the grills just popping out. Will move on to the headlights when I have more time.
