[Warning: Rant ahead]
So I brought my A4 in this past Monday to have my throw-out bearing replaced, was told this was a 2 day job. I paid for a loaner for the first day (I ranted about this in an earlier thread) and used their shuttle service the second day to save money.
Got a call Tuesday saying it wouldn't be done on time, so I rented another car for Wednesday (no charge). Got a call Wednesday saying that the wrong part was ordered and that it wouldn't get to the shop till this afternoon, so the car wouldn't be ready until Friday.
Got a call today saying the wrong part was ordered AGAIN and my car won't be ready till at least Monday. Called up AoA with the situation with no resolution. AoA tells me the part that they are ordering is the flywheel, which apparently needs replacing due to the throw-out bearing. This is news to me, the dealership never thought to tell me this.
I'm pretty heated right now. I had plans to work on the car this weekend and I have a shitty gas guzzling GMC Equinox for over a week. They would let me use an Audi rental, but the only 5 they have are being used. What a horrible experience!

Ouch, definitely a mess, I can't believe they didn't tell you everything they were replacing. That is poor service from your dealer.

I hear you. I have had my car in the shop for 30 days amongst 4 different dealerships in just 11 months of ownership. Not really impressed with their service. Good luck bud. Get an Infiniti next time ;)
cheers! Mike

I will NEVER go to an Audi dealership again unless I start hearing of a good one around here. My car's been in the shop for just under 4 weeks now, no loaner car from Audi, and it only needed 7 days worth of labor. No communication WHATSOEVER from University Audi of Seattle. I feel your pain. The treatment from Audi dealerships is unacceptable.

I love my dealership down here in portland. They treat me very well with loaners, and good explanation. Keep in mind people don't come to these forums to post good things, the people who post are generally upset so that what you here. I heard good thing about Barrier Audi in Bellevue.

The audi dealer in Orlando, Classic Audi treats me very well. They gave me a loaner when I had to get my coolant flange replaced and the car was done by the time I got out of work. They also vacuum and wash my car by hand every time I take it in. sorry about your bad experience though! I can't even imagine what thats like.

I need to run down to Barrier once I get my car back. I've heard good things and just want to see what they have out now.
Unfortunately I can't claim to just be here to bitch, but in this particular case it really has been pathetic. Today I received my first call from the dealership to update me on my car, saying that they're just waiting on a door trim piece now. They've had the car for over 3 weeks, and NOW they give me my first phone call a day before I'm supposed to pick it up. Apparently the guy who was handling my case before no longer works for the dealership, which I'm hoping he was the reason for the problems, for Universitys sake, but it won't stop me from writing a letter of complaint. 1 week to the day and my car is still in the shop. The dealer thinks the wrong flywheel was installed in my car when it was built, which is why the new flywheels they have don't fit my car. Not sure if I believe it, but the fact is, I won't be getting my car anytime soon.
And still no Audi rentals have come in that I can use instead of this big-bad-SUV.

That suck man.
I scheduled an oil change for my car and they are giving me a 07 A6 as a loaner. I have had nothing but good dealings so far with my Dealership
I hope it all works out for you!
