Can you briefly describe how/where you ran all your wiring from the trunk to the front of your car (battery, head unit/dashboard). I am going to be installing a water/meth injection kit and the tank is going to be in my trunk. Im trying to figure out how to get the hose from my engine bay to the trunk and I figured I could follow the same path that some of you used. [up]

There is a grommet on the firewall near the battery that most people use. Remove your glovebox (6-7 bolts) and run the lines through this. Then, snake them through the center console and run them under the carpet at the back of the console. You'll need to remove the rear seat, but you should be able to do it no problem if you use a coat hanger to pull them through.

Is this a picture of your power wire and RCAs?

Your power wires should be ran seperate from your RCA's.

Why?

Why?
electrical interference from power to RCAs. creates static noise.

I get the point but their is not enough power running through the power cable to create any type of electrical interference in the RCA cables. now if you talk about the ground thats a different story that can create an issue for the RCA's if the ground is not big enough.

I've seen problems in even 12 gauge power cables, but it's not as common on subs, mostly speakers.

No, it's the wiring harness for my air suspension. Totally different "system" in the trunk, but same concept.
And for the separating of power and RCA cables, there is enough room on the driveline tunnel to run the RCA's down one side of it and the power cable down the other. [up]
