Driving home after work today and CEL popped up solid. Grabbed my bud's OBD-11 scanner and the two codes that came up were P0299 Supercharger/Turbo under boost. Can anybody clarify this for me. [confused]
Car still runs smooth.

Have you lost some power too?
Search is your friend, lol.

Thank u, I did search [:)] read about 25 pages but did'nt see anything concerning my problem. I don't think I lost any boost but I don't have a boost guage. Dropped it back down to stock, I got accustomed to chipped mode so I can't tell the difference in stock mode. All underboosted. [:D]

Can this also be the result of bad gas [:)]? Bought 93 Oct at a different station last time.

Yeah I was just kidding about Search, given that I got this outside the Forums. Somebody just turned me onto the site last week.
I doubt it was the gas. Sounds like your DV is torn, and if you are chipped its almost certain. Can you clear the code w/that device? If so do it and see if it comes back. Should be warranty item as long as they don't find out and/or object to your chip.

do you hear a fluttering sound when the DV releases pressure ?

A simple boost leak can cause this DTC. Meaning, the car is trying to achieve boost but cannot due to a leak somewhere in the plumbing. You should check all boost related plumbing for leaks. Areas to check include: small hoses going to the N75 valve, intercooler hoses, hose from intercooler to throttle body, etc. Make sure all of the plumbing is securely attached and has no cuts or tears. Good luck.

Not trying to beat a dead horse guys but if your gas door was open, can it cause that code? I just realized my fuel door was left open. Duh. [mad] Just went back to 93 chipped mode and feels as strong as before. Anybody?

No. Could be PCV as well as what MIke suggested. Check around your oil fill for signs of oil spray. cheers! Mike
