Hey everyone. I've been extra quiet for the last few weeks, which is kind of a bummer in a way, seeing as how I have been really excited about a BT build the last couple months.

Bad News First: No Big Turbo project! I had the car torn down and ready for parts, got a new timing belt kit, water pump, oil cooler, vacuum lines, and a ton of other things replaced. Well, the car is now going back together.

Good News: The good news is that I have a damn good reason not to follow through with my BT build. I found out a couple weeks ago that my Wife and I are going to have a baby! It's our first, so of course I'm really excited and nervous all at the same time. The Audi won't be second (or first, depending on if you ask me, or my Wife, lol) anymore.

Thanks! I've been joking around about that baby seat... I wanted to buy it for some friends of ours last year when they had their baby!

Thanks! I wish it was that easy, to go BT now and recoup later... problem is I'm already trying to recoup from other things. I'll find a way to do it sooner or later!

I have a 21 month old girl... and I can definitely say the above is true for me lol ;) For starters my wife is at home ( -1 income ) and my baby is starting to cost something ( at first they don't ). DO IT NOW! even if you have the money later you'll start talking about education funds and all that stuff ;)

.... having said that she's the best thing that ever happened (honestly)

Thanks, and thanks!! The valve cover/intake manifold are from a can. 1200 degree flat black grill paint (yeah, like a weber). Turned out really good in my opinion. The coil pack cover is raw stainless steel. 034 motorsports sells them in a few different configurations. (http://www.034motorsport.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_61&products_id=516)

Agreed! It's already sucked more money than any other car I've owned. The funny thing is that somehow I'm OK with that!
