usualy sport springs lower it like 1.25" and the S-line suspension is 10mm which equils .39" so you do the math...

Just get coilovers and run any height that you want.

My care a 05.5 with sport suspension is .75 inches lower than a 06 without. I don't know if this is the same as the sline sport suspension. I just measured last weekend against my buddys 06 A4 w/o OEM SS.

If you want a better suspension, coils are the way to go. When I have the mula, or find the right deal, i'm going to go with the STaSIS SS Coils. All I've heard is great things about them. You can do shocks/springs combo from H&R however, it's almost as much as Coils, and coils give you far superior handling.
When I have the money...
GIAC-X Chip
STaSIS SS Coils
Front+Rear Sway
New Wheels/Tires
BBK
Body Work
and the list goes on....
my point is, if your into modding and like to drive hard, a better suspension makes a huge difference!

i am running a set of tein SS.. dampening @ 10 in the front and 8-9 in the back is perfect... when you push the car down, there is no bounce, yet it's soft enough for everyday driving
installation was a bitch and adjusting the rear height is a bitch as well
make sure you get it done right the first time.. i still remember how it's done (how much to adjust in the back) if you need

Vogtland Coilovers have been extremely good to me.
If you want to drop your car fairly low with NO coilovers, just get a set of H&R RACE Springs. Make sure they are the race model and not sport.
A lot of guys over here at the Champion Dealership are throwing those on there S4's and Porsche's.

I didn't know there was a difference with Race and sport with H&R. I can't seem to find the Race ones for the A4 anywhere.
