For those of you who have completed this mod, do I need to remove the bumper or can i just do it without removing thebumper. I have a non s-line bumper...

TIA

you should be able to take the fog out without removing bumper, then reach from the engine bay for wires... easier with a jack or lift of course

you can try with the bumper on. but personally i'd remove the bumper, you run the risk of bumping around the hid bulb, especially those fragile rebased ones.

good luck.

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i remember that the s-line bumpers (and i guess the standard bumper for 08+) have removeable covers for the fog light. Once you remove those, you should be able to see screws holding the fog light.

However, for the non-sline pre-08, you either have to have really thin/flexible arms, or you have to take off the bumper

Are the yellow fogs on ECS, the same as an HID Fog Kit? If not, where could one find an HID fog kit for our cars?

all you need is a conversion kit from vvme, visionbulbs,...etc. with h11 bulbs

i would like to do this too, but i'm worried about bulb-out warnings and flickering fog lights since there's no way to recode the fogs.

i don't think they make projector fogs specifically for the b7. it seems our reflector fogs housings are adequate enough were it will not blind others.

you can google h11 h.i.d./xenon conversion kit

or search:

to install hid on non sline would be nearly impossible without removing bumper. When I tired I didnt have room.

I would recommend removing front bumper. Any really kit would fit as long as its h11 hid.
