I have Vogtalnd coilovers on my car and every morning when I start driving the car I get a sqeaking sound coming from the front right of the car (when I go over bumps or make turns). After I drive for about 10 minutes and the car has warmed up the squeaking goes away. I think the noise is coming from the coilovers (definitely not the brakes).... any ideas?
Thanks

i've got the same issue...same coilovers...except it's from the driver's side.
i'm thinking it's the front sway bar bushings right now...let me know if you find anything else out.

Were the control arm bushings reset when the coilovers were installed?
Could simply be the bushings to the control arms being torqued now that the car is lower.

the bushings for the outer ball joints or the inner ones?

can you reproduce the squeaking sound by just bouncing the car up and down? If so, you may be able to pinpoint the source of the sound by having someone else bounce the car while you listen. Maybe it will just require some penetrating oil to quiet it down. Good luck.

can't reproduce it manually...not enough compression.
i'm beginning to wonder if i didn't over-tighten something

I had the same problem for the first 3-5 months. Same coilovers.
Then they just stopped squeaking. It's been squeak free 12 months.

The outer parts are ball joints. The inners are bushings. I'm referring to the rubber inner bushings.

Thanks for the input - I'll check the bushings to the control arm and see if that helps.

Ya, I've read some of your posts about tightening these bolts while the suspension is raised to curb weight position...but I can't figure out how to even reach them like this.
