Last week locks stopped working. No pump noise but good fuse.
Any idea where to find a new pump if it is the problem?

Central locking pump.
It's in the trunk on the passenger side back.

Thanks for the reference material. I searched the b5 forum before I posted the question but not the archives. Hope it's not $200 or my car will be lockless until someone finds something to steal inside.

ok i have the same problem and no one has helped me with it either. i replaced the PUMP ONLY so i shouldn't have to reprogram if its even possible to reprogram for a 96 a4. cant hear and pump working. only the after market alarm making a clicking noise. someone same us! its irritating having to pull and push down these locks.

ohh yeahhhhh and the FUSES umm im not sure which slot the fuse would be in since the fuse cover doesn't have a diagram. can someone take a picture and show me were? i only checked the fuses that were in there.

I think the fuse is the 5 amp in the third row down (99.5)?

ok so i checked the 5 amp fuses on the third row. and all the other ones in the whole fuse panel. and their all good... whats my next step?
