Real Quick Sway Bar Question

Im about to order some H&R sway bars right now online but I wanted to verify one thing before I order them. The sway bars made for the A4 from H&R come 32mm front/20mm rear. If I order the kit for an S4 which comes 32mm front/22mm rear, will everything bolt up fine? Has anyone done this or know if it works? I just called H&R and spoke with a woman who told me that it wont work and she does not recommend it. After reading about people putting the RS4 bar on their A4 it seems like it should work. I just wanted to get thinks straight so that I dont have to send back the S4 sway bars if they dont fit.

I read somewhere it is a direct bolt on. I just ordered the rear and it arrived today : )

One more thing that I have to add...I just looked at the part numbers for the front/rear sways for the S4 and the front/rear sways for the A4 from H&R and none of them match up. The front bars are the same size so I thought the part numbers should match up...Can anyone back this up before I order?

Get either the HSport 35/24 setup or the HSport 35/29 setup. www.purems.com I have no idea why HR would say their S4 bars wouldnt work but that is the size I would want from them if I only had them as a choice.

I have the S4 rear sway on my car, it works and bolt on perfectly fine....
which settings are you planning to have it on? stiffer or softer? i am on the softer settings right now, but my mechanic told me i couldn't go with the stiffer setting becaz the endlinks are too short... is that true??? when u insatll it can u let me know??

1 more thing: you should order the s4 brackets and bushings since you haven't order the sway bar yet... they don't come with any brackets/bushings
i have my stock brackets/bushings and its making alot of noise becaz is squeezing the sh!t out of it, i rarely drive my car now untill i replace those bushings/brackets.

Hmm. I havent heard that one yet. I will let you know for sure if they can be set stiffer once I install them.

Ok I am going to call some people right now to see if I can the brackets and bushings. Thanks for the heads up.
